چکیده
We present a new strategy for the dispersive evaluation of hadronic light-by-light contribution to anomalous magnetic moment muon $a_\mu$. The approach directly applies in kinematic limit relevant $a_\mu$: one photons is treated as an external electromagnetic field with vanishing momentum, so that kinematics corresponds triangle. derive expressions single-particle intermediate states, well tensor decompositions two-pion sub-processes appear addition those needed established approach. existing based on set dispersion relations four-point kinematics. At it not known how consistently include this framework resonant states spin 2 or larger, due appearance singularities can be traced back redundancy decomposition. show our circumvents problem and enables triangle are manifestly free from singularities, paving way towards data-driven all exclusive states.

Hadronic Light-by-Light Scattering in the Muonium Hyperfine Splitting
We consider an impact of hadronic light-by-light scattering on the muonium hyperfine structure. A shift of the hyperfine interval ∆ν(Mu)HLBL is calculated with the light-by-light scattering approximated by exchange of pseudoscalar and pseudovector mesons. Constraints from the operator product expansion in QCD are used to fix parameters of the model similar to the one used earlier for the hadron...
متن کاملHadronic light-by-light scattering effect on muon g-2.
The hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to muon g −2 is examined using low energy effective theories of QCD, the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model and hidden local chiral symmetry, as guides. Our result is −36 × 10 −11 with an uncertainty of ±16 × 10 −11 , which includes our best estimate of model dependence. This is within the expected measurement uncertainty of 40 × 10 −11 in the forthcomi...

متن کاملHadronic light - by - light scattering contribution to g μ − 2 ∗
We briefly review the current status of the hadronic light-by-light scattering correction to the muon g − 2. Then we present our semi-analytical evaluation of the pion-pole contribution, using a description of the pionphoton-photon transition form factor based on large-NC and short-distance properties of QCD. We derive a two-dimensional integral representation which allows to separate the gener...
متن کاملHadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to muon g-2.
The hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to muon g−2 is examined based on the low energy effective theories of QCD, the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model and hidden local symmetry approach, supplemented by a general information concerning the asymptotic behavior of QCD. Our result is−52×10−11 with an uncertainty of ±18 × 10−11, which includes our best estimate of model dependence. This is wit...
